OK my TF card works, I can transfer files pictures videos and mp3's back and forth.

However when I play an mp3 that I have tweaked with either nero 6 or sound forge if it even plays at all it loops after the first 2 seconds of the song. I have made various song lengths at various bitrates and cannot seem to get this right, any help would be appreciated, oh I am also unable to transfer the mp3 to my phone, it says it cannot transfer, what am I doing wrong?

Actually let me rephrase this I am able to transfer files from computer to card. Cannot transfer mp3's to phone memory for some reason, as well and as stated above entire mp3 will not play sometimes nothing plays, weird.

Anyone know the limitations that the phone will play I have tried 8, 16, 64n and 96 bit with an 11K, 22K and 44K sample rate nothing is working for me and this is getting quite frustrating.

Oh and I have searched through the forums and haven't found any truly detailed instructions on this (ie bit rates/sample rates, etc.)

Search at Hofo. Click the search near the top of the page and select Verizon temporary v710 discussion. There is loads of info there.

Make sure your file names are short, many have struggled with that one. Only reason to "move" mp3 files to phone from TF card is for ring tones. Others play from TF directly. Make sure you formatted the card IN the phone. YOu will loose anythin you put on the card when you do this so take anything off first that you do not have copies on your comp.

Every "how to" is answered:

cannot ans the vid question. Have not tried it but I think I remember you can record several minutes. You must designate the TF for storage. Activate camera in video mode. before capture, click muen and then scroll to "switch storage device" make fure tri-mmc is highlighted abd click "ok" or select. Then experiment and see how long it will record.

Formatting the card is us7ually a step number 1 that you do as soon as you first insert the TF card into phone. Some have used it without formatting the card. Others have experienced difficulties until they finally formatted the card. Like formatting discs on a computer, the formatting process erases anything on the card. So if you want to try it, put card back into computer and move an...
