i juss got a cool light up antenna for my v710 in the manhattan mall
hey if any of u live in manhattan or wanna stop around 34st in manhattan mall go and check the downstairs place there is a place where u can get light up antennas for ur v710 i got one that lights up a bright blue and then many other colors its really cool
...
That could mess up the phone, use it at your own risk.
...
How can it mess it up?
...
no it cant my phone is working great
...
how much...can you give me any better directions to the store ?
...
It can cause RF feed back that could damage the RF circuitry. Plus I Don't think that Verizon will service your phone if you have antennae.
...
I'm actually surprised the damn thing works, usually they only work on AT&T and/or non cdma handests...
at any rate, lisk I said they do use the RF energy to light them up... so for the same ammount o fradiated power, the power amplifier has to suck harder ont he battery and probably rail itself to achieve output...
...
Ok, you know those antennas have *NO BATTERY* in them right? where does the power come from you might ask? Its sapping transmitter power to light the LEDs... so now your phone's power amplifier has to work double time *ALL THE TIME* to power those dinky little LEDs... its NOT a good thing...
...
You should sell them on ebay i would buy one.
...
Yea, me too.
I havn't seen them anywhere yet.
...
i'de like a light up because i enjoyed having some kind of light when getting a call like i did on my samsung. I remember looking up this phone before buying it and it said it had "mood lights" near the motorola logo on the front to tell you who is calling and such. It would be green, red, or blue and you assign importance to each...
...
It would be really cool if someone could hack this phone... we could have the light go on and off when it rings 😲 😲 😲
...
No... it wouldn't be cool.
...
Well using the HS820, some kind of ring notification would be nice besides the ring, that you cannot hear.
...
the v710 needs some leds on the front like the v600...now that was some tight sh**
