how do i do voice commands

i know im an idiot but during testing i was able to say camera and the camera came up...why cant i do this on my personal phone now...what option or menu am i not selecting?? where do i go to turn it on??

Really easy. You press the "voice command" button on the exterior lower right. You wait until it says "say a command". You say camera. The camera comes up ready to take pics.

If this doesn't work, then I'd check out settings... this should work. 😉

For the first couple of weeks I had my v710, the voice recognition worked pretty darn well. It had trouble with some phone book names, but generally I was pleased.

Now, without warning, voice recognition has failed. I get the prompts, but it never recognizes what I say. In fact, it appears not to be "hearing" me say *anything*.

Has anyone else encountered this?

Any thoughts on fixes?

Try power-cycling the phone.

Yeah, I fixed it by "hard rebooting" - i.e., shutting down, taking out the battery then restarting. (Always a useful thing to try.) Thanks!
