Does it really work or is it just a bunch of crap. Also, I returned the first V710 I had and the new one doesn't work as well in my apartment. Anyone else have this issue?

I am so relieved that you showed that as a recommended signal booster. I cringe when I see someone buy one of those "stickers" that's supposed to improve reception. Afterall, wouldn't the engineers @ motorola put a 5 cent stickers on the phones from the factory if they actually worked? Sorry if it sounds like like I'm whining, I just hate seeing people waste their money on junk. Excellent recommendation, Sponge.

I never thought these really could do anything to help ... so I ran it by one of the electrial engineers here at work (big undersea telecom company)

He said the theory behind a passive circuit like that is sound ... but whether or not it made an appreciable difference in signal strength was uncertain.

I picked one up for $1 and slapped it on ... it doesn't seem to HURT signal.

I have a couple of extra ones, I can send you one and you can see if it will make a diffrence. I noticed nothing, but some of my friends that I gave them too, said they work good. Of course I have verizon, and they have at&t so that may have something to play into it 😈

Anyways. If you want one pm me and I will send one out to you. It would only cost you about a 1.37, so as you can tell it is not a miracle device.

I experienced the same thing after I returned my first V710 because incoming calls wouldn't ring through my bluetooth car kit. The reception on that first V710 was incredible. The reception on the 2nd v710 that I have now is nowheres near as good. I'm not saying it's bad - it's just pretty average. That first one was unbelievable - I could carry on crystal clear conversations in areas where others couldn't even get a signal.
