1) In itunes, go to preferences and click the "importing" button and select MP3 encoder from the "Import using" pull down menu if it isnt already selected. Then select the Custom... "Setting" and select a bit rate of 60 or 96 or however you want to sacrifice quality for size. a 25 second mp3 at 60kbps is about 230k.
2) find the mp3 you want to use on your v710 and figure out what 25 second part of it you want to use.
3) Get info on this track IN ITUNES and click the options tab. You will see Start Time and Stop time. Put the times of the start and stop of your 25 seconds.
