Anyone know of a good, believable reason that I would be able to return the V710 and exchange it for a new one? I am past my 15 days (had it almost 4 weeks), I have the low earpiece volume and scratches on the outside above the camera. I just would like to start over and try a new phone. At least this way, for one, I can take precautions concerning the scratches on the outside, and hopefully get a phone with better earpiece volume. I just don't want to get all the way to the Verizon dealer and have them tell me that I'm S.O.L. and stuck with the phone I have.

Any input is helpfull - Thanks

On mine, the camera viewfinder would tend to go black; the menu in camera mode would then be inaccessable. The picture would still take, but no viewfinder. Finally to get the viewer again, it necessitated a reset, which meant resetting all ringers and personall settings afterward. That's a hassle that shouldn't be tolerated.

You might want to try the recently discovered hack to increase the system volume. You can find it on this forum. As far as the scratches go, take better care of your phone and stuff like that won't happen. I know there are generic cases out there into which the v710 will fit. Although it's probably not a permananent solution, it should help you in the meantime.
