V710 Volume
Just got my V710. I find that the volume level is very low. Anyone know a solution?

Agree with everything said above...but the short term solution is to move the phone around until you find the spot it works best for your ear. I know this sounds dumb and obvious, but a 1/32 inch of movement is about 4x the volume when I get it in the right spot.

i find the volume is ok with my HS810-- could be louder. But the problem might be the design when actually using the phone. I find I have to put it towards the bottom of my ear to hear it. strange.

Mot screwed up the human factor/design of speaker placement. They clearly did it so that they could make phone as small as possible while making screen as large as possible.
If you check your home phone or your last cellphone you will find a nice cup and that top of handset to speaker is 1 inch distance. On v710 distance is 3/8 inch and no cup.
Key is to retrain yourself on where to hold phone headset to align speaker with ear.
