Does verizon sell the Jabra 250. I called them and they said they can order it and send it to my house but they dont have the model number. So i wouldnt want the old 200 one.. SO which isbetter. They are priced fairly the same. SO which one wins?? The boom to shut off the hs810 is a very very good feature. But which is better overall.???

moto bt 10 only has 4 hours talk time while the jabra has 8. Who cares about shutting it off if it last all day nommatter what.

sound quality on the jabra is much better as far as the listener is concerned. it gets even worse on the moto 10 and 20 if you have a deep voice as it picks up too much base.

That is the 200 I believe. I think they have both. But I spoke to them on the phone and check online for the 250 129 price.

Best Buy has it for 99.

Look on shopper for 77.

Nope, Cingular Wireless has 14 days to return for a Full Money Back guarantee. Make sure you goto a Cingular Wireless Corporate owned store and not a reseller since Cingular resellers actually has Cingular Wireless as the stores name too.

I just bought the Jabra 250 on ebay, new in the box, for $63.00. There were others listed around the same price. Best place i've found for prices for these headsets.

I think the diff btwn the 200 & 250 is that the 200 comes with an adapter to use with non-BT phones, I am not sure but if this is true you want the 250. Also check Amazon, $79 but no taz or shipping charges.

You are correct. The headsets are the same. The 200 is the kit for non BT phones.

Not really. There are two BT200's. One has the adapter and one doesn't. The BT250 has a longer battery life than the BT200 but the range is not as good as the signal output is lower as confirmed by several people on HowardForums. The BT200 is just a upgraded model of the regular BT200 without the adapter.

I have both. The Jabra is louder, more comfy, BUT does not ring all the time. And since the phone does not ring when the BT is active, that's a huge problem.

I sidelined the Jabra for the HS810. The boom off makes it king.

The Motorola isn't that bad for the volume but I have the Jabra 200, and both the Moto 810/820. The thing with the Moto is that it doesn't seem very secure on the ear since it seems like it can fall off if you run while the Jabra is more secure on the ear.

Very true. My fiance has small ears and I had to really had to work on hers to get it to stay. The Jabra fits like a glove. It is that "not ringing all the time" issue that steered me away from it.

I am hoping to find a SEEM element change that will make the phone ring with the BT headset on...

I don't think there is a seem element change to make the phone ring with BT headset on since the V600 had the same problem and it took a firmware update to fix it. I still wondered how did people figure out what each bit in the seems do or what the seem range was in the first place unless someone who developed the phone leaked out the info.

that I don't know, I am sure it will take some trial and error...

I do know that there are some SEEM element changes that a software upgrade wont fix if they get screwed up. 😲

I'd say go with the HS-810. I just bought it today. I tried on the Jabba FreeSpeak 200 on VZW (I told them I wouldn't buy if I couldn't try it on.) It felt good, but although it looked kinda small when holding it, It looks really big when someone has it on. It protrudes off your ear and makes it sort of "hang out" a little. The HS-820 (which the first 3 VZW stores I went to didn't have. The only place that had it was an authorized reseller.) was nice. It was VERY small and sleek. However, when I put it on, it was wwaaayyy too small. It barely fit my ear! (I don't have that big of an ear, normal size). Plus, the mic barely got to my jaw bone. Last but not least, I tried the HS-810. I liked the design (especailly the boom turning it on/off), a...
