any luck with using V710 as modem for Tungsten T3???

Has anyone been able to use the V710 as a modem for the Palm Tungsten T3? If so, PLEASE share your settings. I've tried tirelessly for hours to do so...needless to say, NO LUCK thus far!!

Have you tried a lot of diff. options? I have looked at every website. VZW was not help.. Moto was no help. Looks like RS will get no sale.

Yes, it works over BT. Use the Mot TP820 as the model.

I've tried the suggestion to go to the prefs and use my mobile nimber@vzw3g.com, passwor: vzw
Used the BT motorola typ 280
#777...

But when I hit connect I get an error message
"Error:Serial:timeout.Could be bad cable or faulty Modem. (0x0305)

Any thoughts?

What PDA do you have?

Do you have the Bluetooth connection established and turned on between your PDA and Phone (Stupid question, I know, but I like to cover the basics)?

I have the tungsten t3.
I have bluetooth on the palm discoverable and connectable and on.
On the list of devices on the phone my tungsten's username is listed as a device. On my palm's listed trusted devices I have Motorola phone listed.
