Motorola V710
Mini review: so far--so so
I got my 710 this morning. So far it's been ok. Slick phone with lots of features. It feels pretty solid in your hand. Looks more like a professional phone. The LG 7000 looks a little more trendy to me. Great screen display (smudges a bit). Menus are not too bad when you get used to it. I'm still learning th phonebook quirkiness. Camera and video image quality is fair. Overall, I'm going to give it 10 days or so to see how I like it. I may check out the LG 7000 before all is said and done.
A few things: 1. I'm not crazy about the faint ear piece volume. My last LG was much louder at the high setting. 2. The battery life is not the greatest, but I'll give it some time, because I'm playing with it a lot 3. I can't get the speaker phone recog...

I check out a new working display today and the keypad was warped. The keys were actually poping out from the middle. I could see no reason other than some manufacturing defect. I was a little dissapoint with this phone expecting a nicer finish like the v600.
I also hate the huge camera eye. Where I work they're just starting to become sensitive to people with camera phones. Why the big chrome ring? I hope they release an industrial version on this - the camera, better build quality.
