I got mine today at Radio Shack at lunch. The phone is really fast. Much better than the T720. The menus are very well done, leaving a "ghost" of the wallpaper behind waht you did last. I like that. ie, if you send an email, you will see ghosted text on the screen until the email is sent. My gripes are with the ear piece. The sound is very bad. My V60 sounds much better. MAybe the phone was in analog mode and I didnt know it, not sure, but it shouldn't have been. I am hoping that gets better. Next thing, i have had the tones screw up on me a few times. A "ding-dong" should be a nice round kind of sound. Mine has made more of a "purr" type of sound. I turned off and back on and it worked fine. LAst thing, this phone book rocks. ...

heh

you would think that the earpiece (sound) would be the easiest problem/feature to fix on any phone. why do they make phones so quiet? If anything, make them too loud...am I wrong?? would you mind having to keep your volume at 1 because 6 is too loud??? It would just be so much better to jack your volume up whe there is alot of background noise - like at a party, club, in a bar or even in your car.

oh well, I cant wait to get the phone. I had a t720 which died 2 weeks ago, and now Im using this old nokia...the thing is like a brick!!!

its not so much the volume as it is the clarity. The sound is just "muddied". I had a v60 a long time ago that had this kidn of sound. it was weird, you could blow in the ear piece and the sound would clear up. I traded that one in on a new one and it worked great. Weird.

btw, meant to mention the fact that the phones external speaker is top notch. Sound is very loud (and clear?) from that speaker.
