Yeah, but usualy U.S. Smellular gets the same phones a few months after VZW. This has been true for the LG VX4400, LG VX600, Kyocera 7135 & Audiovox CDM-8900.

US CELL sucks anyway. I wouldn't want to get the plan from them. They are like one of the small midwest companies serving only 3 to 4 states of roaming.

I live in NJ and have Verizon Wireless service. Right now, I'm in PA and roaming on the US Cellular network. It is HORRIBLE! All Analog in Wayne county. I was shocked when I got here. I thought I could use my mobile web and other digital features. I passed one of their stores while here, and it looked like a normal cell phone store, nothing special.

That makes about as much sense as saying that all ethnicities are really the same because we all evolved from the same thing, or all modern Christians are really catholic because that is where they all originated. The fact of the matter is that while cellular, like all things in life all grew from similar roots, they are now very different things. Different companies, different management, mission statements, employees, ECT. So if you still think that they are all the same, that is up to you, but I know from a business point of view, the two are competition.

I had US Cellular before I got Verizon in 2002.I would go to them if Verizion was no more,but they don't cover my area I am in most.

Being a former US Cell employee and currently working for VZW I can most definitely assure you that they are two very different companies. While they are both CDMA companies and there are a few US Cell markets that VZW would love to get their hands on, unless there is a major buy-out/merger there is no part of US Cellular that is anything Verizon. Check your info before you post.
