This "toothing" is also called "Bluejacking" by a different faction in Britain, although the articles I found on Bluejacking last week did not paint the picture of it as being sexual.

That's what I thought... How am I going to get spam if I'm not set in the discoverable mode? And why would I be in that Mode if NOT trying to set up a device?

"Toothing" and "bluejacking" are two different concepts.
"Toothing" is stupid. People search for bluetooth devices that are on and discoverable and try to initiate a chat in order to have sex.
"Bluejacking" is a way to basic...
