Thanks Alot Verizon!

I don't know if anyone else agrees with me or not but what would be so wrong with Verizon simply telling us that because they want to provide their customers with quality hardware and equipment this phone is being delayed until _____ . I would much rather have a hard date from my celluar company, even if it is one or two months down the road, rather than suffer through all this speculation and dates that come and go with no new releases. And I know it's just a cell phone, but I have had it with my T720 and I would just like to know when I will be able to get trid of it. Personally I would appreciate that kind of straightforward honest response from Verizon and I believe a lot of you here would too.

It's quite likely that they are working hard to resolve whatever issues they have with the phone and don't necessarily know a "hard date" to tell you at this point.

Basically folks, it's like this: calling verizon customer service is useless, calling motorola is useless, and listening to this forum until someone posts evidence is even more pointless! If you know someone that works in a store keep in touch w them cause they will know the truth before anyone else will! If you are that dead set on getting this phone the stores will know first!

I agree 100%. Verizon may have good coverage, but otherwise they are HORRIBLE and I think about switching all the time. Thanks to this issue, I just might! Now that I have waited so long that my contract is up. 😈

Here is your hard Date. This news comes directly from a Senior Manager at Radio Shack. We all know that Radio Shack is one of largest distributors of Verizon Wireless phones. The V710has been slated for a September release. The V710 has failed several of Verizon's network testing phases and is back on the shelf until the bugs can be worked out. It was held by several people and it is an excellent piece of hardware. Once the bugs are worked out I have no doubt that this will becaome a staple in the wireless phone market just like the Startac and then it successor the V60 series.
