Ringtones from iTunes

I am blond, ok? I know that there is a way to convert the files on my iTunes to ringtones, but I haven't a clue how. Is there a good place to find out how to do it step by step for my V 710? I have the little memory chip already. thanks

Actually, the only way to do this is to find a program that converts i-Tunes to MP3's. Then you can trim the length of the MP3 to around 30seconds. Unfortunately, i-Tunes cannot directly load to ringtone. It's that proprietary, lame-ass, BS that Apple is famous for.

Actually



Here are the steps

download and install iTunes if you don't already have it.

1. Open iTunes and select your "Library."
2. Right-click on a song you would like to use as a ringtone and select "Get
Info"
3. In the newly opened window click on the "Options" tab.
4. Check the boxes to the left of "Start Time:" & "Stop Time:"
5. Enter a "Start Time:" and a "Stop Time:" Verizon/Motorola V710 rings for
approx. 25 seconds, so a 25 second time length is recommended.
6. Click on "OK" and the window will close.
7. Click on "Advanced" near the top left area of the iTunes window and
select "Convert Selection to MP3" from the drop down menu. The newly created
MP3 file will appear below the original song.
