😁 I went to a Verizon Wireless store today in Rego Park, Queens. Well here's the conversation...

Me: Do you know when the Motorola V710 is coming out?
Tech: Soon.
Me: How soon?
Tech: I dont know.
Me: Do you actually know and cant tell me or you actually dont know?
Tech: I know but cant tell you. But i can tell you that it will be out in the next few weeks. Expect the phone in early June.
Me: Thank You.

And i left very happy. At least a Verizon Wireless Technician confirmed it. Its better than nothing. Enjoy!!! 😁

I dont even post on this forum a lot. I can actually count the amount of times that i have posted a message and thats 3 including this one. Opinions about what other people have to say does not count because thats not even giving info on the release date. And stupid jokes to make people laugh are not even to be taken seriously, its just to make some of you laugh since a lot of you are getting pissed off of little comments someone makes. So please dont accuse me of posting b.s. on the site. I have no hate towards anyone cause its just childish if you do. 😁

The fact that its in a mall leads me to believe that was just an authorized verizon dealer like Cellular Sales, etc. Even if it wasn't a stand in the mall but an actual store you can walk into doesnt mean its a direct store b/c theres one like that at my mall. Not saying your lying or anything. Im just saying they dont have tech people in stores or stands like that in my area. However, I hope he is correct and I am only skeptical b/c i want this phone so bad and keep hearing how its been pushed back! thanks for the info though

I got the same thing from a 'manager' or something at a local Verizon company store.

I asked my regular sales geek standing at the counter when there was going to be a phone with Bluetooth support and some guy I could not see said "two or three weeks, I think" from the little hidden office behind the counter. The regular sales geek said 'manager says two or three weeks'.

Well I can assure that the store in the Rego Park Mall is indeed a Real Verizon Store (It’s in the new expanded area). I'll be around there this weekend, so I'll stop by and ask.

So far (in NYC) I’ve asked three different Store reps (including one manager) and was told from the manager and one of the reps that new phones will “for sure” be out between the weeks of June 21st and July 4th. The other guy just said soon. None of them were actually able to tell me which model would be first.

But with school ending, summer kicking off and the July 4th Holiday; you see why this sounds legit. I think a new mobile phone will be on top of every new grads list. And with video messaging debuting around the same time, new video capture phones...

Guy at the Verizon store yesterday said 4-6 weeks for the v710. Take it for what it's worth.

I heard that a Verizon Store opened in the expanded part of the Queens Center Mall. I haven't checked out that part yet and I live in Rego Park. I usually goto the one in Forest Hills. I'll be at the mall this weekend so I'll stop by and ask.

I had similar 'good vibes' when I talked to a rep at my local store to confirm that I can renew my plan on June 6th (2 months before contract runs out). When asking about the price of the Kyocera SE47, he said, "By then, the prices will probably have dropped."

Okay, I know I'm being overly hopeful, but I want to think that multiple price reductions means new phoneage, and maybe that means the v710.

I'm a virgin poster, so please don't rip me a new one...the best anyone's been able to do is speculate anyway.
