used v710 for verizon?

I'm looking to buy a used v710 for verizon to replace a less capable phone currently in use on verizon. Does the v710 have the required gps chip so I could activate it online?

Yes. The V710 has GPS as do all phones that now come out from Verizon Wireless. Its an FCC mandate that all phones now have a GPS or some location device.
