Called Motorola this morning to ask about moving mp3 from trans flash card to phone to use as a ringtone. He said Verizon does not allow this and has disabled this function. If you try and upload one to your phone through funformobile, Verizon limits the file size to 30k which sounds like krap...sorry

Not sure how old your phone is, but I can do this with mine. First you move the mp3 to the phone, then you can select the song and assign it to a ringtone.
Otherwise, another way to do this is to send the song as a data packet to a dummy number, like 555-555-5555. It will obviously bounce back to you undeliverable. When it does that, take the undelivered data packet and assign it to a ringtone.
