is v710 better than v600?

I know it has a better camera... and an mp3 player.. and expandable memory.... but are there any other reasons why the V710 is better than the V600?

Well... For those of us on Verizon, a GSM phone won't work. The v710 is CDMA (which will work on Verizon's network), and the 600 isn GSM.

Well let me make it even muddier for you. With in 2 years the only format that will matter is UMTS (check out www.nttdocomo.com and click on the FOMA series). This is what Cingular & Verizon is heading toward. BTW, UMTS stands for Universal Mobile Telephone Standard. It is the REAL 3G and not just the 2.5G being sold as 3G in the USA.

CDMA vs. GSM... in the good old USA GSM is expanding (mostly through the ATT & Cingular acquisition). Verizon offers the best customer care and coverage. Believe me, I worked for AT&T Wireless in customer care for 4.5 years. We lost more business due to coverage & poor customer care than any other reasons. When I left the company I had the option to keep my ATTWS service, etc but chose Verizon because I coul...

Yep that's the A840, not the V810.
