I believe that MANY auto manufactures will follow with handsfree link in their cars. Remember at one point seatbelts were an option. --Handsfree bluetooth will become a staple in autos. Linking phone books to the PC, and printing a quick photo via bluetooth has uses for real estate people, etc.

Hey! I'm a real estate person!

I agree. I think that the future of computers in automobiles is incredible. Not necessarily with Bluetooth, but in general. If you told someone ten years ago that cars today would be able to talk to you and tell you how long it was going to take you to reach your destinations and tell you every turn to make they'd think you're insane.

There's so much to this technology. Right now, in my opinion, Bluetooth will be effecting the wealthier half of the population as they are the ones who are able to invest in this technology. But one day it will be standard.

How about this for a giggle:

Your in your car, and your next Home Showing client calls, a nice woman. You answer on your Bluetooth Handsfree link. You pick them up, and have several homes to show them. All the adddress are stored in your Bluetooth enabled PDA. At each home, you ask your clients if they would like some specific photos of the home you've showed them. You send the Doc's and Pix from your PDA via Bluetooth to a micro bubble-jet printer that is 12V DC powered from your PDA. and at the same time, send the entire package to her husband's office via an 802.11G Wireless link.

2 Days later, HOME SOLD - Commission= $...

Yup - crazy. I'm not actually a realtor, I just work for the company. But the commisions are incredible.

As I said, it's the third most expensive town in the country to live.

And yes, the properties are multi-million. We just sold one for $20,000,000! The commision on that priperty would be $1,000,000 (5%).
