As you all know, Motorola has a promotion where they're giving away either a free Bluetooth headset or speakerphone for the first 710 people to register their phone.
One little question... Since this phone already has speakerphone built in, who would opt for the speakerphone?

I was thinking the same thing but my guess is that this speaker is meant to be used on your desk, rather than sit the phone on your desk and talk into it.

Yep, it's a bluetooth speakerphone, so the phone can (supposedly) stay in your pocket/briefcase/whatever while you voice dial and answer your phone with the speaker.
Knowing Motorola's past record with Bluetooth...it may not work quite the way they want you to believe, but time will tell.
