Bluetooth phone question
Ditto! In my line of work I can't bring photographic equipment with me to work, so I miss out on the Bluetooth because the majority of phones released today have a camera built-in. Unless I can get a hold of an early model’ and am willing to pay double it’s original price, I have no choice.

I think sprint has a bluetooth non camera phone that can be put under a verizon network. I believe it is the t608(don't quote me on that one, but they most definitly have a non-camera bluetooth phone.) Just a little insight. You can check out the standards on it on phonescoop.

Verizon does have a bluetooth phone without camera capabilities. However, this phone is definetely old and you will have to buy it used (most likely on ebay). Its the Timeport 270 and you need to buy the bluetooth battery adapter. Definetely not the best phone out there, but if you are in need of one without a camera.....that's the one.

Hey I'm not sure how many people remember the Motorola Timeport 270c.. The phone is discontinued but is still available through ebay... I used to have this phone... it was great but I wanted color screen so I sold mine... the key thing is that this phone did have blue tooth via an adaptor.. the phone is extremely light wieght and carries a great speakerphone... I know you can't find them new now but it might be a great alternative for people who are not allowed a camera phone and still want bluetooth because of there job restrictions

There are a lot of older phones out there that have Bluetooth without cameras. Here's a link to a list of all the "Available" and "Discontinued" phones with Bluetooth using the "Phone Finder" feature on this site (on the left menu of every page on PhoneScoop).

You cannot exclude phones with cameras using Phone Finder. You'll just have to look at each one. There are a lot of older Ericsson/Sony Ericsson models with Bluetooth and no camera. If you're looking for one for Verizon Wireless, I use the Sony Ericsson T61c with the DBA-10 Bluetooth adapter. This adapter attaches to the bottom of the phone.
