If I do the flash update that is spoken about in this forum, will I be able to use the bluetooth in my phone and the bluetooth in my Dell Axiom to get online? Also, where is that tutorial for the Flash update posted? Cant seem to find it. Please reply or email me. 😳

Actually, you don't need the update to get online. Bluetooth dial-up networking was always supported on the v710. Mainly the update allows you to sync phonebook, calender and media files via bluetooth with a pc. It also changes the image processing algorithm to improve picture quality a bit. If you are not concerned with BT syncing leave your phone as is and just set up the axim to communicate.

Even if I have Verizon? From what I understand reading thru these posts, isn't that feature deactivated?

Even though I've never used it myself, that option has always been available on V710's supported by all carriers.

The BT dial-up networking profile has been enabled since day. I got my verizon V710 last august when they came out and I was online with my palm tungsten within a couple of hours. The file transfer protocol was/is disabled but this is not needed to use the phone as a wireless modem. Another item that works now is dialling directly from the palm phone book. In theory this should work with pocket pcs too, but my colleague here with an X50 has never been able to get his X50 configured to do this.
