No difference in picture quality between low, medium, high. Only in size difference?

I just took a pic of something with medium and high resolution.. and both pics are EXACT quality.. Only difference is when i see them on my computer then obviously there is a size difference..But on the phone i see NO DIFFERENCE AT ALL. this is stupid...

This shouldn't be surprising. You're phones' display only has limited resolution. No matter what picture resolution is stored in memory, only a limited amount of pixels are available on the display to reproduce the picture.

As the old saying goes -- "You can't make Chicken Soup out of Chicken S#'~".

If you shrink the "larger" one down to the same size as the "smaller" one, then the previously "larger" one will have more detail... a "tighter" density of pixels making up the photo. It will therefore be a better quality picture.

(I don't want to point out the obvious here... But just in case some people aren't clear on the subject)
