I was just wondering have they started to sell the new version yet, and is it better then before or the same...Is it worth gething..I really dont care about cam...just want a good phone.. 😕 😎

I've had mine for two weeks and yes it is the new version. I can also honestly say this is the BEST phone I've ever had. I've had Audiovox, Samsung and yes the kids toy LG. I'm a businessman and this is a highly sophisticated phone geared for business. The best phone that I thought I ever had was the Star Tac but this one is better. Fantastic reception, gets a signal where my Star Tac didn't. Highly advanced phonebook. The best voice dialing I've had and the best speakerphone. Camera is excellent in the day and the transfer to computer is excellent. If You want a toy to play games and listen to music buy a kids phone, an LG. Also the Bluetooth headset works great. 🙂

I was also one of the ones that was waiting for the LG 8000. The problem is that it might be a while before it comes out and the LG 8100 is right around the corner. I'm happy that I didn't continue waiting because I love the V710. Don't listen to the negative reviews this phone got because I was hesitant also. Most of those reviews those people don't know what they are talking about. You also have 15 days to return it if it doesn't fit your expectations. With the 710 you don't have to pay Verizon to get your pictures on the computer, you just need to purchase the Transflsh card and an SD card reader. If you buy it and need help I will give you my e-mail address. I know how to use this phone. With the LG phones you dont have the expandable me...

Yeah i have one of the first versions. Got it the second week it was out. I remember people talking about camera issues, but never heard of any official recall from Moto or VZW. That's why i was asking for a link or more info.

There's no firmware update yet. The only thing that will be fixed is the tilt and maybe the bumpers that cause the screen to get scratched.
