Motorola V710

I just received MPT 3.0 from Motorola and when I installed it after registration it upgraded to 3.19. My question is how do I transfer pictures with this program? I am sure this must have been answered before however my search shows nothing. Thanks

I don't think you can. I have a TransFlash Card and usb carder reader coming next week for this purpose. From what I've read verizon has disabled this feature so that you are force to use the network to transfer these items. I am new but from reading it looks like Superdave's flash will re-enable the ability to transfer using the TransFlash card (if it is necessary, because there was talk that verizon would update the firmware to disable this "security" leak.

You can transfer pictures if you have reflashed your phone with the new SuperDave firmware. You have to manually configure mobile phone tools manually to use the V710m rather than the V710. The m is the OEM motorola version rather than the verizon. If you are configured for the verizon version it will not transfer an media files. the V710m enables the media gallery which can be synced via bluetooth

How do you do the manual reconfiguration. I'd really like that feature. I tried to select "New Phone" from the setup menu, but that didn't work. I tried both USB and Bluetooth.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
