Can't get free WAP on new V710
I just recieved the new V710 with the supposed camera fix - everything looks ok, only problem is now I can't get free WAP... I had been using the method of copying the Verizon link and leaving everything the same just changing the address to wap.google.com, then when it connected all I would have to do it hit the "back" key and BAM - free wap. But with this new phone - I get an error?? Anyone else have this problem? Or know of a fix or another method for free wap?
Thanks in advance

Seems off hand... they finally found a way to prevent free WAP.{I was using the same method... and I still have my original V710. Free WAP was working... it's not now!!!}
That is unless someone knows a differant way to get free WAP????

It's working just fine for me.
Here's how I'm doing it, maybe I'm doing it differently than you guys:
go to Mobile web/Web Sessions and highlight the VZW session. Click the center menu button and choose copy entry. Type a name like Hollywood.com and hit OK. Then go up to the Holloywood.com entry and hit the menu button again and choose edit. Now go down to the homepage field and erase everything after the "http://" and replace it with the address; wap.hollywood.com
Now save the entry and launch Hollywood.com. If this doesn't appear on the screen, hit the CLR key to go back once and hollywood.com appears.

Yes, this is how I USE to do it. But since I got the new phone with the fixed camera it will not work like that. I'm not sure if it is the new phone or something that Verizon has done to their network. I have tried multiple wap sites just as you explained to no avail. I get a "HTTP Error: 403 Forbidden" 👿
I have heard of other people having this same issue - anyone found a fix yet?

are you sure that you replaced both instances of verizon.com in there? There are two fields, both should be changed.

I'm not sure I know what you mean when you say "both instances". I changed the web address - but there is only one place to put in an address. The IP address I left the same. If that is what you have to change - then please let me know what address you are using to get it to work.
Thanks in advance
