Motorola V710
New v710?
I just spoke to verizon rep who told me that in mid december they will have an updated version of the v710. Except for the bt is this a quality phone? Also can I download any mp3's on to the expandable memory, or is it just for ringtones?

yes wait for the LG - vx8000, its going to have the same features as V710 but no bluetooth

the lg phone wont have bluetooth. but more importantly, it wont have the transflash. this means you'll have to buy ringtones from GIN or send them to your phone. either way, youll have to pay! 😡 the whole reason i bought the v710 is to put what i want when i want it on my phone( without having to pay fees) ive got all my favorite songs as ringtones and some cool ass videos as well. depends what youre lookin for but id go with the v710 😉

I hate to add more to the wild rumors that are floating around on this forum, but a friend of mine is an Agent in central NJ. Last night I ran thru his store and in between customers asked him what the deal was with the 710, and if there really was a software update planned.
and he said yes "they are redoing the whole phone"
Not sure what that means exactly ... he had customers so I could not get more info.
