My biggest disappointment with v710 and HS820

Phone not ringing when BT HS820 is enabled. Anybody know anything about when or if this will be corrected?

I spoke to someone who has the v600 on AT&T and they mentioned that the phone can be set to ring when they have their HS810 enabled.

This is a major PITA for me, personally, considering that the 820 can't be enabled fast enough to catch all calls.

Yeah it sucks... same prob here.. pretty sure nothing can be done. I think the 810 will still allow the phone to ring

I originally had the 820 -- what i would do is after i finished a phone call i would go into bluetooth link and drop the 820 leaving it on. this would allow the phone to ring normally and you could then push the button on the 820 to answer the call. then after the call was finished you have to drop the 820 again

a royal pain

i got rid of the 820 and purchased a 810 instead -- same reception better sound quality in the wind - it came with a belt case and a lanyard all good but the best thing is when folded it is off and when you open it the headset takes a tiny bit more time to connect to the phone and answer a call then it takes you to put it on

Rob,

My main use for the headset is in the car while driving so dealing with the phone is not practical.

I actually had the 810 for a while to check out but wound up fumbling a bit with it when opening the mic and trying to hook it over the ear/ drive.

The 820 works fine for me - just wish I didn't have to wear it all the time to hear incoming calls while driving.

Maybe the BT speaker is a better solution.
