I get a v710, Im happy with it (unlike all you picky people 😁)...it breaks for no reason, I bring it back and they dont have it in stock, and cant give me a replacement/loaner phone because they dont carry those..

I guess Ill just go the month without a phone...hopfully they will charge me for my monthly fee too!! yay!

☹️

i have no idea, i took great care of it, one night i went to open it, and it was just black...wouldnt turn on, and the battery was definitly full. verizon techs couldnt fix it...must have just been a lemon? ☹️

the thing that sucks is I wont have a phone now for a month or whenever this phone comes back out.

Some stores do have fru phones to give, they still have the problem, might want to contact a few different store in your area.

Did you try rebooting it - taking the battery out and then back in after a minute?

if there is no voice or data usage on your account they will waive the service charges for the month, besides verizon always brags about how they test phones like crazy before they release them, well they released it and now they pulled it, the prototypes were probably fine so i blame it on motorola more than verizon, i'm waiting for the v710 re-release just like you hang in there, take care.

Technically not true... YOu signed a contract saying you would pay for 1 year or two years of service with us, if they were to credit you for a month if you didn't use your phone, they could also extend your contract by a month.

again, your contract states you agreed to pay a monthly service fee for the number of months you signed up for, regardless of the number of min used or any use at all. some people only have it for an emergancy and don't use it at all.

Your situation is different, becuase of the equipment issue, but just an fyi on the contract....

My dad awhile back had a similar problem with his t720. He didn't have a phone for almost a month, and the CSR credited his account for the full month even though he had used it a couple times at the beginning..

Lucky him, if there's any use, not suppose to credit. but it all depends on teh rep, the length of service... etc. etc.
