Thats what i would like to know i love this phone its the best phone ive ever had. The only thing I hate abt it is it seems like the mp3's are low like u said compaired to the reg ringers and i asked verizon and motorola if there was anyway to make them louder and they both said no the volume is only capable of going up to 7 on the phone. the mp3's sound great on this phone I just wish they were louder I like my ringtones to be real loud like the LG phones. But I feel you 100% on this issue!!

This is what i've came across....
The mp3 ringtones volumes are controlled by the ringer volume.....(obviously).
What i've done to make then louder is edit it on your computer BEFORE you transfer it to your phone and make it louder. Some files are of a poorer quality and make it sound quieter...
My problem with ringer notification is how tiny of a vibration the phoen gives off in vibrate mode.

hi jbozmi I just have one question how do u edit the mp3's on the comp to make it louder before u send it to ur phone this would be great all i want is for them to be a little more louder so that way i can hear them better in loud areas. I get them from walmart.com and i save it to my comp then go to vzwpix.com and send it to my phone so where in the process can i edit the mp3 to make it louder? Thank you very much!

i, too, found my mp3 ringtones to be a little softer than the pre-stored ringers. what i did was, i edited the mp3 on the computer BEFORE i transferred it to my phone. you can use audio editing programs to do so. i use a program called Blaze Media, but i'm sure there are better, more user-friendly programs out there. but the only downside is, if you make the mp3 too loud, it will sound distorted on your phone.
just remember to convert the file to .mid before sending it to your phone, or else it won't be able to read the file.

Sorry, I didn't see your messages until now.
Yes you can make your Mp3's louder by using a sound editor (you can find a basic one on downloads.com)
To make them really loud without distortion, use the feature in your sound editor to remove the bass from the sound. It took me a little while fooling with the program to find mine, you may have the same problem.
Otherwise, it works great for me. Now if I could figure out how to fix this problem with not being able to transfer the files anymore to my phone..........
sending them to my phone is not an option, the sound quality gets degraded in the send.
