Photo quality suggestion

If you use a transflashe for you photo transfer (why pay verizon). I noticed if you increase the brightness of the photo it really enhances the photo quality. I've used multiple photo editors and had the same results.

What I find funny is that my friend has the V710, I put the phones side by side, took pictures simultaneously, and mine looked like garbage and his looked pretty good???

Why are there all these inconsistencies?

I have noticed that if you do not use the "auto" lighting conditions the pictures come out better. Also, if you are indoors "night" will sometimes get rid of the grains.

There is a thread on HoFo where people have posted pics from their V710's. 90% of them are fuzzy, color saturation off, just plain suck ... but a few of them are so sharp and crystal clear I have trouble believing they came from a V710.
