Called customer service today!
I called customer service today and the lady told me that at this time u can not get the phone any where in the united states untill its fixed. I asked her abt my phone and she said if ur having a prob with ur phone give it to technical support and they will give u a new phone and i asked her if it had the same prob with the blue streaks when i take a pic what to do then and she said if u want u can get a new diff phone that is equal to the V710 phone and i asked her abt the LG 8000 and she put a note on my account saying if im not happy with a new V710 phone I can get a LG 8000 for free!! I thought that was nice of them since I paid 519.00 for this phone! so if u guys do get the new version of this phone and are not satisfied with it u can ...

It is still available as some RadioShack stores, but only until word has gotten out that we are not supposed to sell the phones. I just bought one at my own store today so I know this for a fact.
I also talked to my verizon rep and he says that Verizon is going to be sending a card or letter by mail to all v710 owners on its service that will allow them to come into a VZW store and get their phones fixed. Something to do with the camera in the phone. I asked if the update had anything to do with the crippled bluetooth in the phone and he told me "No."
