RINGTONE RIPPER!!! 😁 😁 😁 ok ok seriously though. On my comp at home I use Sony Sound Forge 7 that came with one of my sound cards I bought. Let me tell you it is the shiznit yo. I can go down to the nitty gritty and cut up to the millisecond. Also I can fade in and fade out at proper times so my ringtones fade in when it rings and fade out when its done.

I don't believe its worth every penny but I got hooked up with my sound card 🙂 😎

I heard about a bunch of other progz you can use to do your ringtones around these forums. Do a quick search and see what you can find if you need more help let us know. Always glad to help good luck. PeaZe Out

d00fuz u r such a d00fuz but dont forget to save to .mp3 and go to custom and make it 96kbps to make them smaller u can push 60k or 80k if u wanted to also but the quality gets sicklike. I just like having mine smaller so I can fit much more. I can see your having fun with it though thats good. Anything else let us knows. PeaZe Out.

Ok in order for you to put them ringtones on that bad boy you have to have placed ur TF card into the phone already for the format to happen. After that happens the phone tells the TF the structure of it and it makes all these folders for the phone to kno where to find the stuff. If i remember correctly u put in ur TF card onto USB to ur PC and then access it navigate to SHARED MEDIA i think or SHARED and look for the AUDIO or dammit im having a block but its something like that or RINGTONES. But where you want to go to look for those folders is something like SHARED and there are five (5) folder VIDEO, AUDIO, SHARED, Somethin else, and Somethin else.

You kno what i think it goes in shared. Man i feel retarded now =P but test it out m...

i've already gotten that far. i have the ringtones in the phone and working. the only way i've been able to use them as ringtones, not just play them as an mp3, is to move the tone off the tf card and onto the phones actual memory. is there a way to use the mp3 as a ringtone directly from the tf card?

Yeah, same question I have, can you use the ringtones straight from the card or do you have to move them to the phone. Anyone?

Free, easy and works nicely (below copied from another post):

http://www.apple.com/itunes/ »

Says apple but works on XP

Download and install iTunes if you don't already have it.

1. Open iTunes and select your "Library."
2. Right-click on a song you would like to use as a ringtone and select "Get Info"
3. In the newly opened window click on the "Options" tab.
4. Check the boxes to the left of "Start Time:" & "Stop Time:"
5. Enter a "Start Time:" and a "Stop Time:" Verizon/Motorola V710 rings for approx. 25 seconds, so a 25 second time length is recommended.
6. Click on "OK" and the window will close.
7. Click on "Advanced" near the top left area of the iTunes window and select "Convert Selection to MP3" from the drop ...

I use windows movie maker to cut the tracks, overlap, yadda yadda. It allows me to save it as a windows media sound file at FM radio quality to save space.

Then I use iTunes to convert it back to mp3 by simply opening it in iTunes. Any converter will do.
