Ok, I recently got to try the 6620 for about a day and I can safely say that I was impressed. The screen is very large, one of the largest screens I have seen.

The menus are nicely set up and easy to navigate. The camera is a very nice the video recording is good as well, the display shows how many minutes of recording you have left while in video mode and the camera display shows how many photos you have left. The sound quality on the phone is quite good and the speaker phone works great. Now it does come with 12 mb of internal memory and a 32 mb memory card, which you can up to a max of 128 mb(I think), so storage and memory should not be a problem. The downside is sort of N-Gageish. You need to remove the battery to access the memory c...

Question: Did you get a chance to check out the ring volume of the phone? One of the hugest drawbacks of the 3650 (an earlier and lower-end predecessor to the 66xx series) was that it's loudest ring volume wasn't much above a violent "peep". Even with normal ring tones--forgoing the midi ringtones.

I'd love to hear that they gave this phone the ringtone volume of the 3595 or it's ilk. But if it's not there, I want to know that too so I can start looking at other brands (much as I hate to do so).

The ring volume is very nice, I would say on par if not a little better than the 3595. 😁

Doh, silly me forgot to mention how much the internal 12 MB memory can store.

For the camera it's about 2250 pictures(though you can store more or less if you change the picture quality).

For the video 10:00 minutes, very decent actually.

Now if you add the 32 MB card(included) well you can guess how much more you can store. Also it's a TOTAL of 12 MB used by programs as needed.

On a side note, I did see some T-Mobile stores with the phone in my local area of Ocala, FL. Interesting, no? I did check and they are locked, though we all know that can be dealt with easily.

I got to test it for a couple of days and where I saw it in a store was the T-Mobile booth in the Paddock Mall, Ocala, FL.

Yes, Cingular is getting this phone we are just in final testing phases and negotiations with Nokia.

Also, what kind of free stuff do you get?

I don't have an exact price yet but you can prolly figure w/o a contract of about $400 USD with a 1 yr $300 and a 2 yr $200. Don't quote me on those prices though! 😉

The will most likely change before October.
