Poor battery life

Nov 28, 2012, 4:56 PM
I purchased two of these phones from ATT, one for me and one for the wife. Both phones have horrible battery life. We both leave the GPS off unless needed, Wifi only if we are at home and only turn on when we need to use it.

If it was consistently poor then I could live with that. But it's not. Battery will last almost a full day sometimes, then crap out before noon the next day after a full charge. Even is usage patterns remain the same.

Downloaded the JuiceDefender app and that helped somewhat.

I'm going to try and take them back. Maybe check out the LG Optimus or the comparable new model from HTC.

The big thing is to not have lot of apps that constantly try to communicate with a server. Like some of the new/weather/social apps that keep a live feed g...
