The battery meter is deceiving. The 3-bars will hold for a while. At 2-bars, it seems like there's no time at all before it drops down to 1-bar. So from this angle, it's easy to see why the battery seems weak. What's harder to realize is that the battery will stay at 1-bar for about 2-3 days with normal use.

I had an entire weekend without my charger and my battery at 1-bar. I also had higher-than-normal use that weekend. Never did my phone die and maintained that 1-bar all weekend!
