Contacts with duplicate numbers

I'm confused about how to handle the Contacts list on my phone. It won’t let me create two or more different entries in the Contacts list if they share one or more phone numbers in common. I want to create an entry for my friend’s cellphone with just that number in it and then assign it to a speed dial entry. I want to create a separate entry with just his home number and assign it to another speed dial entry. Finally, I’d like to have general entry for him that has all his numbers, including his fax number and his email address in it. I don’t care about it being a speed dial entry. I find that the phone won’t let me create these entries if I first create the all-encompassing one that contains all the phone numbers. If first create, say, the...

Deos adding a T pause after the number make the phone think they are different numbers (don't have my phone with me)

Granted, more than one T would be annoying, but it might work for you.
