i just bought a kyocera se47 for verizon wireless and have already had a problem with it Crying or Very sad . upon turning the phone on there is a thin purple vertical line that runs right through the screen. also the signal strength flucuates all over the place, and the reception for this phone is Very Poor.
has anyone else had similiar experiences with this phone? if so did you try to find out with the problems might be? and did you get any definitive answers?

Is the phone new, used, or refurbished? Used and/or refurbished phones tend to have problems like the ones you described whereas new phones most likely will not have such problems.

As far as the line in the screen goes, is it always there or just when you turn the phone on? What I mean is, does the line disappear or is it constantly there? Sounds like it may be a bad LCD.

Regarding the signal strength, does it fluctuate if you stand still or does it only fluctuate when you're moving? Changes in signal while you're moving is completely normal. However, if the signal strength is changing when you're not moving, then I would say that something is most likely wrong inside.
