HTC Droid Eris
well this sux....
i recently found out that on April 1st...to make more room for another android powered phone from HTC they would cancel orgers for this fone an HTC would stop produncing it....which mean that VZW will supply us this fone till they run out then we get the Incredible....oh well..but i really liked this fone

I was also informed that the eris will never receive an update to 2.1 or any update for that mater.....its like Verizon and HTC disowned this phone ☹️

who ever told you that is wrong. verizon has posted on the support page for the eris that 2.1 is "coming soon" whenever that may be so the update is on it's way. you can also go to android forums.com and d/l a leaked version of 2.1 for the eris. it came from verizon/htc. i am running it now and it works great. android forums is a great place to get all the info you need. check it out if you have some time to kill.

i kno i just checked an VZW is gonna be sending out the update for 2 weeks!!!! im so freakin happy!!!!! WOOT WOOT!!!!!!! cant wait to get my update
