Yes, the wonderful, thoughtful folks at Verizon have released an "Upgrade" to the "always stable" 9550. I've pasted all the advancements here with a few omissions conveniently avoided in the CrackBerry/VZW pat on the back. First that CB Post, then read on.....

Hawkeye, Its a pleasure for me to share my experience with this device so that others will not fall into a trap of sheer frustration as I did on the last "official Update (713)." It literally invaded the core of my work and rendered countless hours of productivity to become useless.

I weighed the positives this new update provides against the consequence of its negative behavior (Software alterations, invasions and data deletion). You must weigh the advantages against those negatives, and the relation to data residing on the device before you make your decision to download. You could be quite sorry!
