Ok, point by point...

1) The cited example, again, is extremely poor. My laptop routinely chokes when loading .xlsx files. xlsx is a horrible, bloated format. Did nobody think for 30 seconds that maybe it was the file that caused a problem? Microsoft's file formats are notoriously unreliable, to the point where I have had files *I CREATED* that I couldn't open with *the same program I created it with*, but was able to open it in Open Office.

So yeah, failure to open a .xlsx file, and it is the Droid's fault. Of course.

2)Droid's keyboard. OK, but only the physical keyboard is actually motorola's, and even that is in some debate. Have you seen the keyboard on the TouchPro? I think they copied the exact same keyboard, and chan...

Oh Voyagerboy,
Please do us all a favor. I would really prefer you to stop posting altogether but we all know this wont happen. But it is very clear you have a lot of time on your hands as well as a lot of dislike towards the Droid.

Maybe instead of posting everyday or many times a day you save all your thoughts for one crazy long rant. The way you post now just makes you look like an angry troll. On a sidenote, I hope the You Tube videos by someone with a similar SN isn't you. That would just solidify so many thoughts I currently have on you if so.

And MUPI. You know your stuff and crack me up in regards to this clown. Thank you.

Not really sure why I bother... but...

Is is me, or is it strange that only negative reviews are "honest" or "unbiased"?

Seriously, though...this review? OK, a lot of people claimed it would be an iPhone killer. I for one maintain that if the iPhone bothers you, than the droid is a viable alternative. Probably the most viable alternative yet, with the possible exception of the Nexus.

But nobody every claimed it would compete with the iphone on style. Why anybody would want to, is another issue entirely, but this review is entirely focused on the aesthetics of the experience, there isn't a single functional issue described, in this review.

Oh yeah, and the "gold stripe" which has "no apparent reason"? that's a vent. Gold is ...

For always writing factual threads as well as remaining a gentleman through all these "voyagerboy saga threads"! 😁
If VB is so anti-Droid, why does he have 2 of them (per the thread, by him, of lying to Assuron and getting a 2nd droid)?? 😕

Thank you Mupi! 🙂

he has helped, but the problems i have still remain to be problems on a daily basis and i may have been sarcastic and rhetorical in some of my previous threads but i in no way was trying to spread rumors, i just seeked resolutions to my problems, and who the hell drives 900miles in a week?!

Lol 🤤 🤤 🤤

I do, for one. It is a side effect of where I live. it really isn't QUITE 900 miles, most weeks, but then there are weeks when it is close to 1200, so I figure it averages out.

Sun- 130 miles each way to church (260)
Mon- 130 miles each way to church (260)
Tue- 130 miles each way to Bible Study for my wife who cannot drive due to a medical condition (260).

+++ extra miles most Tuesdays for shopping, since there are no decent shopping outlets here.

+++ many Thursdays I go into town to pick up stuff for work (160 mi each way = 320)

=====
780 minmum, 800+ average

up to somewhere around 1100+ miles if I have to make a work trip.

Any other questions?

Figures a Droid hater would be athiest 🤣 🤣 🤣 🤣 🤣 🤣

There's lots of prayer apps and stuff like that, if you are into that sort of thing.

And BTW, I don't own slaves; never have. Can't speak with 100% certainty of my ancestors, but I doubt it.

The title of the review you link to is "Verizon Motorola Droid Sucks" and you think its unbiased? Are you an absolute moron? The "review" is really just a paragraph of rants about the Droid. If you hate your Droid, sell it on Ebay, get another Verizon phone, ANY other Verizon phone, and find another forum to post inane comments on. Stop wasting space in this forum.
