Trash . . .

So . . . I have a widget on my home screen which I can long press and then drag down to the bottom of my screen to the trash and delete. Great!

But do I need to delete the contents of the trash? How can I do that? I've installed a number of widgets and shortcuts which I've deleted and don't want to fill the trash can up; must be a way to remove complete.

thx

that just deletes the "shortcut" for the app.. not the app itself

Thx . . . yes I know, but if the shortcut is now in the trash with 10 others doesn't the trash need to be emptied or deleted?

Is it a different trash can then what comes on the phone? If not then there is no need to empty it

Unlike a Recycle Bin on your PC, putting a shortcut in the trash simply removes it from your screen.
