😲 After hours of reviewing and even a visit to the Sprint store, I was unable to come across an instant messaging app for the Palm Pre. I'm aware that Palm's app catalog is still beta but does anyone know whether or not if this phone will ever have an instant messaging app such as: AIM, Yahoo, etc. I was really looking forward to purchasing this phone at the end of the week, but all the threads on here are making me think otherwise. Is there really no micro sd insert on the phone to provide better memory?

Here is the status on Yahoo. Im should be on it's way soon. AIM I don't know about.

There is no removable memory for the Pre unf...

AIM & Google Talk come preloaded on the Pre. All you have to do is enter your acct info for either, and you're good to go! I'd guess that YahooIM will be coming in the near future with another firmware update.
Yes...there really is NOT a micro SD expansion slot. But, with 8 GB's and the ability to connect it to your computer as a USB Drive...it makes swapping out files a breeze! 😎
