Can't send e-mails

I keep getting an error when I try to send e-mails. All the settings are correct so I can't figure out the issue. Any help would be appreciated.

i hope someone replies soon...i am having the same issue and sprint told me it was earthlink's issue and then i got earthlink on the phone and they weren't able to help me figure it out either. they had me change my outgoing port number a couples time, take off authorization, put it back on...nothing worked. any help would be appreciated!

Until you figure out a way to get it working you can for now...

1) set up a free gmail account (gmail works flawlessly on Pre and syncs with contacts and calender)

2) have your earthlink emails forwarded to your new gmail account

3) now your earthlink emails are on your PRE =)
