Question for you Impression users
I am considering the Samsung Impression and I have seen quite a few reviews stating that the phone freezes up during texting. Have any of you encountered this?

I have not encountered this. The important thing is to power cycle the phone on a daily basis (which is supposed to be completed on all phones). Also if you delete the cache, cookies, and history regularly it helps as well. 🙂

If you've never had a touch screen before, the Impression is the best thing to try in my opinion. The only minor downside is that occasionally I have to restart my phone so it can send texts. It doesn't freeze up on me or anything but sometimes (maybe every few days) it will fluke up and not send texts so restarting it kinda refreshes it.
To avoid this issue you can shut down your phone while it charges over night, but only once every other night and not every night otherwise the battery is drained of its true capacity over time.

The 'over charging of battery capacity' statement isn't limited to the Impression, this is important for all cellphones of all carriers.
Like how you use more gas to turn off and on a car than to leave it running for a minute to be right back in a 7eleven somewhere.
