HELP...can I improve volume

joyous

Can anyone help please??
I have had my omnia for about 40 days. I love the phone for texting, email, and Internet but I may get rid of it if I can't improve the volume. Callers have difficulty hearing me and I have difficulty hearing them. Yes I have the volume turned all the way up.
Can anything be done to improve volume????
Thanks

To let you know, my Omnia call clarity and volume levels are great and I do not have "the volume turned all the way up".
There have been a few reports of call difficulties as you describe. Assuming the Omnia audio settings are factory settings, I would suspect that there is some problem with your phone. Have you contacted Verizon Technical Support? Have you asked that the phone be replaced?

To let you know, there's nothing you can do to change the phone's outgoing volume - what you sound like in phones other people use to talk to you. If people you talk to can't hear you, the phone has a problem. Mine seems OK. I'd talk to VZW about a replacement if you're sure that's what's going on. *ANY* phone should sound OK on the other end of a call, and this one is a PREMIUM phone.
