ActiveSynch Timeout? Anyone else seeing this or is mine a lemon

So If I plug in the usb cable to my work (on ms exchange) computer, after the phone synchs once ActiveSync then reports its no longer connected...

It does the same on my personal computer. unplugging it, and plugging it back in, is 50/50 successful on it reconnecting and synching again.

Is anyone else seeing this? it's driving me crazy, but really don't want to get it swapped out if its something simple to fix.

it always seems to stick at Synchronizing 19 percent complete.

right before it synchs the files.

Mine has done something similar. It will finish with its synchronization, but then it disconnects. The only way to reconnect is to unplug it and plug it back. It does not do this all the time. The times when it is irritating is if I want to use the phone as a modem, which I don't do very often.

I can understand the frustration with that.
If you are only having that difficulty with Active Sync/MS Exchange, then I would assume there is a compatibility issue.
I use Active Sync/WindowsXP/Outlook without any issues.
My Omnia stays connected.
