I called Samsung about the no My Storage folder on my second Omnia. They said to return it to the store, it is defective. This is the second defective Omnia.

Sorry to hear that Joey,

I returned my first Omnia today. It was having the same problem as your first on in that I couldn't turn off Wi-fi. The keyboard was also unusable in that it never recognized the correct key. It wasn't even close to the correct key. The VZW store gave me a new one after trying to "fix" it themselves for about one half hour.

In NY Verizon is not advertizing the omnia. Wonder if they realize it's not up to snuff?

Today, in local paper was a Verizon 4 page flyer advertising all kinds of Vzw Phones. Omnia was NOT one of them.
To date, my Omnia is working great! Sure hope it continues. But only on day 7 since my purchase. One very surprising thing is the battery going 40+ hours with fairly heavy use. I've read other posts reporting otherwise.
I'd better knock on wood!!!

Most ads are printed 6-8 weeks in advance. Ours here in South Bend have gotten it.

Your right! I had forgot about that. Ads developed before Omnia started selling on December 8th.

Runman, can you tell me if you are using Active Sync? I read in another post that Active Sync could be what is draining my battery. At BEST, I get 12 hours from the phone, and that is with very light usage.
This is my second Omnia - the first was completely defective and eventually just locked up - so I'm wondering if there is a bad batch out there.

No, I have NOT yet used Active Sync.

I read the OP's post concerning that Active Sync could be a cause for reduced Battery life. I will be testing that soon. I now feel I have a well documented track record for my Omnia's Battery life and it's running consistently at 48 to 72 hours between charges. Very satisfactory to me for my usage which is somewhat toward the heavy side.
I'll post my Battery life results after using Active Sync.
