I read the reviews and it's like I have a different phone, on mine wireless does not work anymore, the phone ringer enables and disables itself, the motion sensor even after adjustment still lags esp. when getting a call. The thing is hard to hold on to though I haven't dropped it yet. I think it's going back before my 30 days are up and I'll go back to my reg. flip, nothing, Samsung Gleam until something better comes along. I wanted something I did not have to change my ancient local plan for and that means PDA or Blackberry.
I'm taking it to local store today to try to remedy it and when thinking of exchange I remember the re manufactured phone they gave me the last time I tried a new (Razr) phone and it failed.

Played with a demo today on it seemed to work just fine. Didn't figure how to back out of the pages as you go into the settings and other screens. Have to get one to play with.

I had it set to medium. I found a fix on another forum..turns out it had to do with a power setting too, go figure.

it does have a learning curve. I am trying to like mine, but it sure is easy for it to do something you don't expect...like make a call.

I still can not find a contact with one hand. I could always do that with my MotoQ

there are two ways to look thru your phone book.

one is thru the native windows mobile interface which i agree is horrible to use without a stylus.

the other is the samsung 'widget' version which is finger friendly, you can even scroll thru it with finger gestures.

the samsung version is accessible thru main menu -> phone book (it's at the top left corner of the first page)

yea it does take a few more button presses, but it's sure alot easier to browse thru

keyboard is horrible.
This is a pretty phone, with nice pretty icons.
and cool features, like TV out, but Verizon doesnt give you that cable. You have to purchase it separately, Ahh yes Verizon, milk people for every dime.
This thing is a POS, I wonder if it floats.
This phone is so bad, it makes the Storm look good.
Get the Saga, or the BB Curve, or wait for the Javelin, or Switch to AT&T and get the Bold.
Or look at the HTC Touch Pro, also from Verizon.
